Goals and Resolutions For 2018


Hello everyone! I hope your new year is off to a great start so far! A new year always motivates me to clean and organize everything. Oh and let's be honest, it also makes me want to redecorate every room in our house. Is anyone else this way?

Our year started out with a whole lot of sickness in our house. Joe was down and out for several days with flu symptoms and Adelyn had a cold. With all of the sickness going around right now, it makes me just want to stay in and hibernate.

So, here are my goals/resolutions for 2018:

1. To eat better. I know, this one is always on everyone's list of resolutions! I am hoping to cook healthier meals at home and to eat out less. It seems like we do pretty well throughout the week, but on the weekends we always tend to eat out. This gets to be so expensive and not to mention very unhealthy. My goal is to try and eat out only one meal per weekend.

2. To exercise more. I am going to try and exercise for 25 minutes a day. This is so hard when it is so cold outside but we do have an Elliptical inside and I have been incorporating some arm weights, squats, etc.

3. To clean out and simplify. Like I mentioned, I always love a fresh new start to clean out and organize our entire house. I do this every year. I don't know how we accumulate so much stuff. My goal is to simplify everything and to be every selective on what we buy.
