Hey everyone! I hope you are all having a great week. Ours has been really good so far. Joe is prepping for his annual river trip with his friends this weekend and Adelyn and I are planning a fun girls weekend.

I love simple cardigans for this time of the year. This colorblock one is so cute and goes with so much. I love the hood on it too! I paired it here with a simple long sleeve tee and these Hunter boots. I have had these boots for years now and they were worth every penny. I love wearing them in the rain and in the snow. I use Hunter boot spray to clean them and it takes the film right off of them (they are getting a bit dirty). This necklace by Kendra Scott is so pretty and is on sale for less than $45 (originally $90). I will definitely be wearing it a lot! I have linked a few other favorite cardigans below. I hope you all have a great day and thanks for stopping in.

A Few of My Beautycounter Favorites

Hey everyone! As you all probably know by now, I love Beautycounter products. I love that the company has done the homework for me and I do not have to continuously read labels to make sure that the products I am using are safe for my family and I. European countries have ban over 1,500 ingredients in their products but the US only bans around 30. That means that companies are allowed to use pretty much whatever ingredients they wish (hormone disruptors, cancer causing ingredients) in the products that we purchase. I think it all hit me when Adelyn was born and I started to research the ingredients in the products that I was using on her. It is just plain scary! That is when I found out about Beautycounter. Using safe products is highly important to me and once I tried some of these products, I was blown away by their performance!

Here are a few of my favorite products that I have used so far. I can honestly say that I have not used a product yet that I have not loved! Some of the products are a little pricey, however, most of the products last for a very long time.(Usually around 6 months or so for most of the products that I use on a regular basis). Beautycounter does not add fillers to their products, so a little goes a long way.

Brightening Facial Mask There are three different facial masks that Beautycounter offers. They are No. 1 Brightening for giving the skin a brighter look and a more even complexion. No. 2 Plumping for minimizing fine lines and wrinkles and No. 3 Balancing for absorbing excess oil and drawing out impurities. These are salon quality masks that can be done three times per week. You just leave them on for 10-15 minutes and then wash them off. One tube will get you roughly 20 masks. My husband even loves these, although he probably would not admit it. They seriously make your face feel so good! There is a Multi-Masker Set included in the holiday sets right now that includes all three masks (1 oz.) plus an application brush in a limited addition tin.

Rosewater Mist This mist can be used to set your makeup or as a refresher throughout the day. It adds extra moisture to your face and feels (and smells) amazing! I always spray it on my face right before bed. It is just so refreshing!

Touch Up Skin Concealer Pen This is some of the best concealer that I have ever used. It covers very well. You just click the pen until the brush fills with the concealer and then apply.

Tint Skin Foundation I love this medium coverage foundation (if you want more coverage, you can just add another layer). It is so good for your skin! Since I started wearing this foundation (1.5 years ago) I hardly ever get break outs (even during my period). I am obsessed with this stuff. It is a little pricey, but a little goes a long way and one tube lasts me over 6 months.

Lip Conditioner Calendula Balm Another favorite is this lip balm. I wear this every night before bed and it keeps my lips hydrated. It is also available in peppermint flavor.

Nice Do Kids Shampoo and Not A Knot Conditioner I am in love with Beautycounter's shampoos and conditioners for myself (they have an entire line for all different hair types) but for Adelyn as well. I can rest assured knowing that I am using safe products on her. This conditioner is a life saver! I use a very small amount on her hair and it makes combing her hair out a breeze. I am seriously amazed with this product.

Have you ever used any Beautycounter products? If so, what are some of your favorites? Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you all have a great day!

Hey everyone! I hope your week is off to a great start. The weather is getting cool and it is really starting to feel like fall here in Indiana. I love this simple utility jacket for layering during this time of the year. I found this floral blouse at H&M and it makes for a great layering piece as well. I also plan to wear it this fall under a cardigan as well. These Lucky Brand loafers are some of my favorites and have been on major repeat lately. They are so comfortable and fit true to size. Thanks for stopping in today. Have a great day!

Happy Friday the thirteenth to you all! Here are my favorites for the week. I have been living in comfy house slippers lately, but mine are getting pretty worn. These Ugg slippers have been on my radar. They look so comfortable! This Kendra Scott necklace was originally $90 but is currently on sale for less than $45. If you sign up for their email list, it will get you an extra 15% off making it less than $40. I am all about the email sign ups. Ha ha. This necklace is gorgeous in person! Next up is this Vineyard Vines pullover. I have a similar one and I love it. I love simple hoodless pullovers for this time of the year. Next, this scarf is very pretty for fall and is $26. Last of all, this chenille sweater looks so comfy and it comes in three colors. I hope you liked my picks for this week. Thanks for reading today and have a great day!

Hey everyone! I hope your week is going great. Our internet has been out since over the weekend, so I am just now getting to post for the week. It is so hard to live without the internet! Ha ha.

I am loving this dolman sleeve sweater. It is so comfy and of course I am obsessed with the blush color. I paired it here with denim but I think it would also look great with black or white pants as well. These flats are some of my favorites. They are so easy to just slip on and go. My crossbody bag is such a great bag and it is on sale. The interior is quite small though. It just holds the essentials. The layered necklace that I am wearing is perfect for dressing up any look and it is right around $30. It goes with anything and I wear it often. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a great day.

Happy Friday everyone! I hope that you have all had a great week. Today I've rounded up some of my favorites for the week. First up, I am loving this striped blazer. It could be dressed up or down and it would make such a great closet staple. Second, this necklace by Kendra Scott is so pretty and it could be worn alone or layered with a shorter necklace. I am loving the rose gold color. Next, this burgundy peplum jacket is adorable and looks perfect for fall. This Free People scarf looks so cozy! I think that I might need it, we'll see. Last up is this cute bow sweatshirt that also looks really comfortable and I love the added feminine bow detail. What are some things that you are loving for fall? I hope you all have the best weekend and thank you so much for reading today.

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a great week. Ours has gone really fast so far. We have been going non stop. Today I'm styling this adorable floral embroidered sleeve top that I found at Target. It is not available online yet but check your local stores. It is lightweight and perfect for fall. I plan to wear it a lot this fall. I paired it with these Sugarfix by Baublebar tassel earrings and this Charming Charlie tassel necklace. These booties are from Target also and they are the perfect Lucky Brand dupes for less than half of the price. Thank you for reading today. Have a great day!

Ten Most Worn Closet Items

Untitled

Hey everyone! Today I wanted to share most most worn closet items with all of you. I am a stay at home mom, so I usually wear very basic tees and comfortable clothes when I am home. These short sleeve and long sleeve basic tees from Target are usually my go tos because they are both comfortable and very affordable. I love these Nike Free Run shoes and they are some of the most comfortable tennis shoes that I have ever owned. The Kendra Scott earrings can be dressed up or down and go with so much. I love the size of them too because they aren't too big or heavy. The Rebecca Minkoff tote has the softest leather and it is big enough to hold a lot. I also love that it has a crossbody strap that can be used or it can easily be removed. The Patagonia vest is perfect for fall weather when you want something lightweight but don't want to wear a jacket. This one is so soft and comfortable. Below I have included some pictures of the items being worn.
