Hey everyone! I hope that you are having a great week so far! Today, I am styling this utility jacket, which is from last year, but I wear it all of the time. I linked a similar one above. I plan on wearing it a lot this spring. It pairs well with these Nike shoes, which I highly recommend if you are in the market for a new pair. These are very comfortable. I am a long time Nike fan! I have not found a pair of Nike shoes yet that have not been incredibly comfortable! These earrings are from my current Rocksbox. They are by Kendra Scott, one of my favorite designers. They are really cute and have both silver and gold tones, so they match everything. Use code ashleymbff51 for a free month at www.rocksbox.com. I hope that you have a great day! These earrings are by Kendra Scott and were in my latest Rocksbox. Use code ashleymbff51 for a free month at www.rocksbox.com.

I don't know about you, but I have some major spring fever going on! I have started to spring clean our house and I have been purging a ton of stuff. I really do not know how we can accumulate so much, but it feels good to declutter. I hope that your week is going great! Thanks for stopping by!

wearing: floral top/ old similar here | vest/ Francesca's | handbag/ Tory Burch | necklace/ Gorjana via Rocksbox | flats/ old similar | sunnies/ Ray Ban | Adelyn's top/ Target similar here

Hey everyone! I hope that you had a great weekend! I think Adelyn and Joe are finally on the mend after being sick last week. I have been battling an eye infection the last couple of weeks. My contact lenses have been giving me so much trouble lately that I am considering having Lasik done. It just makes me a little nervous! If you have had it done, I would love to know your thoughts on it.

The weather was really warm here over the weekend, which makes me want spring to get here stat! Cold weather is just not for me! It was really nice to get Adelyn out for a bit. She is so obsessed with Paw Patrol and her little figures go with us everywhere!

Today, I am styling this floral button up top, which is really old, but I linked a more recent one. The vest is from Francesca's and it is really lightweight and so comfortable! This necklace was in my latest Rocksbox and is really cute. Use code admatthews83xoxo for a free month at Rocksbox.com. These sunnies are the Ray Ban classic aviators. They are a little more pricey than some sunnies, but trust me, they are worth the money! I hope that you have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!

Hey everyone! I hope that your weekend was, well let's just say better than ours! Joe and Adelyn were sick the entire weekend. I took Adelyn to the doctor on Sunday morning to find out that she has strep and Joe has been sick with some upper respiratory stuff. I am so ready for them to be well again! I'm sitting over here fueling up on vitamin C and crossing my fingers that I don't pick up either sickness.

Today, I'm styling this adorable peplum top from Eleven Oaks Boutique. I love the button detail on the back. This boutique has the cutest clothes! This necklace is from Rocksbox. Use code admatthews83xoxo for a free month at www.Rocksbox.com. This handbag is a great neutral bag and it holds a lot! The booties are old, but I linked a similar pair. I hope you have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!

My Makeup Routine for a "Dressed Up" Look

Untitled

Hi everyone! I did a post a while back on my everyday makeup routine. You can find that post here. Today, I wanted to share the makeup that I use when achieving a more "dressed up" look. This is what I wear when going out on the weekend, shooting blog pictures, etc.

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer: After washing my face, I apply a pea sized amount of this primer to my entire face. It helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and pores.

Makeup Forever Full Cover Concealer: I have used this concealer for the longest time now! The coverage is amazing! I apply it under my eyes and to any blemishes. A small tube has lasted me for probably 2 years!

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation: I love this foundation because it is full coverage, and it does cover well! It seems to really last and not look oily by the end of the day.

Tarte Smooth Operator Finishing Powder: I use this powder when wearing the Estee Lauder foundation, since I don't need it for the coverage. I just dust it over my nose, cheeks and forehead. It helps to set my makeup and remove excess surface oil.

Beautycounter Blush: This has a blush/bronzer combination. I really love this one!

Tarte Blush: I use a little bit of this blush over the Beautycounter one for a little bit of added color.

Stila Eyeliner: I have been using this eyeliner for a while now and I love it! It is a liquid liner with a fine tip that allows very easy application.

Tarte Colored Clay Tinted Brow Gel: I love using this clay brow gel to help define and shape my brows for a natural look.

Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics: I love the colors of this eyeshadow palette. It has tan and brown tones. I think this brand of shadow blends really well.

Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara: I have been loving this mascara lately. I am one to switch up different brands of mascara a lot, but this one really seems to work well.

Red Apple Lipstick in Beachside | Red Apple Lipstick in Mayberry | Red Apple Lipstick in Oh My Guava: These are my most worn lipsticks. The color that I wear depends on my outfit. I try and pick one that matches the best. If you have not checked out Red Apple Lipstick, you should check it out! All of their products are gluten free, toxin free, allergy free and vegan. Definitely one of my favorite companies for natural makeup!!

I always love trying new products. If you have any makeup or beauty products that you love, please share below in the comments section. Thank you for reading!

Hello everyone! Today, I'm styling this utility jacket that is super old, but definitely a closet staple! I linked a similar one above. I have been loving beanies lately, especially since it has been freezing here! This one is from Anthropolgie and is sold out online, but might still be available in the store. I linked two similar ones that are currently on sale. This crossbody bag is an older one. The color of this one is biscuit. These boots have been a favorite of mine. They are really comfortable and seem to be really good in the snow.

These photos were taken over the weekend near Oakland City. My sister and I attended an art show at the University. That was my first time on the campus and the art exhibit was truly amazing and inspiring!

I hope that you are keeping warm where you are at! It has been so cold here lately. We got a little bit of snow last week. It didn't amount to much, but was enough to make the roads slippery. I don't know about you, but I am so ready for spring! I hope that your week is going great! Thank you for reading!

Today, I'm styling this cardigan with the softest sherpa lining. I found this one on sale at Magnolia Boutique, but it is now sold out. I linked two similar options above. The first one is a bit more expensive than the second option. The ring, necklace and earrings are all from my current Rocksbox. I love all of them! The earrings are the Alex earrings by Kendra Scott. I have been a long time fan of her jewelry and these did not disappoint. The ring is by Shashi and it is so lightweight and dainty. Rings usually kind of bother me, but I cannot even tell that I am wearing this one. This necklace is by House of Harlow 1960. It is a little bit heavier than I am used to when wearing a necklace, but nonetheless, I really love it and I think that it would pair with about anything. I hope that your week is going great! Thanks for reading!

Today, I'm styling this laid back look. I've been loving this black, white and camel color combination lately. You cannot go wrong with a comfy cardigan and scarf, right? This cardigan, scarf and handbag are older, but I linked some similar ones above. These shoes are some of my favorites! They are really comfortable and can be worn with so many things!

I hope that you had a great New Year weekend. Ours was really good! We spent New Year's Eve with some friends and had a really nice, low key evening. Adelyn had so much fun playing with other kids and stayed up way too late. We came home around 11 p.m. so that we could get Adelyn to bed (this was way past her normal bedtime). She ended up going to bed for about an hour and then woke up and did not go back to sleep until 5 a.m. Needless to say, we were all super tired on New Year's Day! Yesterday, we spent the day taking down our Christmas trees, putting away decorations and cleaning. I always love to start a new year. It makes me want to clean and organize everything! Oh, and cut my hair. Is anyone else like this? I don't usually make resolutions because I do not keep them. I just want to strive to be the best wife and mother that I can be everyday! I'm excited to see what 2017 has in store for us. As far as my blog goes, I am going to schedule posts for Tuesday and Thursday each week, with occasional additional posts on Friday. Please let me know in the comment section if there is a certain post that you would like to see on here. Thank you so much for following along!!
